Playa Padre – Beach Club in Marbella
Marbella is located 30 minutes from Malaga and is well-known for restaurants, beaches and partying. If you’d like to chill and lounge all day with electronic music and drinks as well as the beach right there – well Playa Padre might just be made for you.
This local spot is not only beautiful for its views but it also becomes a delicious and cool restaurant at night. It closes at 2am so if you are in for some clubbing, you can maximise your time here in Marbella ! The DJ sets start in the afternoon and each DJ takes over throughout the day depending on what atmosphere is wanted by the crowd.
Food goes from extremely local to very asian-fusion. That was an interesting surprise but a very good one. I sincerely had the best paella and sushis there…The cocktails are very good too.
Do you like beach clubs? I am not too much of a party person but Playa Padre really was a good time for me!
Overall, Malaga is a city of many faces : old and historic, typical Spanish and perfect to enjoy the beaches and or discover the mountains. The access is really easy with the local being close to the city. The taxi system is extremely efficient and, like in every big city in Spain, they take credit cards aboard.
Although historic, it is a very lively area with lots of restaurants as well as an upscale nightlife.
It feels like Malaga can work equally for nature enthusiasts and laid back, beach-loving people. Like every coastal destination, you can also go on a catamaran cruise or spend the day playing volleyball, paddle surfing and shopping :)…
Let me know if you plan on going to Spain soon and if Malaga is on your bucket list. I think it would also work for a weekend away from the cold for people who live in Europe as the flight is only 2-hours long.
Hope the article inspires you for your next trip!
