Yellowstone photos series : Cascade Lake hike

Cascade Lake hike was a peaceful walk through beautiful scenery. We did not spot any animals other than fishes, birds and a bison but we read online lots of people encountered bears as well as moose. This hike is not too long, we spent 2 hours there, taking our time to take the silence in while at the lake. The only problem with this hike is the end of the trail is very muddy and you get DESTROYED by mosquitos. So pack your mosquito repellent and go enjoy this natural beauty . We hiked the first trail until the lake which is 4.4 miles RT (7km).

What you will find : probably wildlife if you go earlier in the morning, mud, mosquitos, incredible lake views, tons of pretty wild flowers, fishes and birds.
