Barranca de Oblatos, also refered to as Barranca de Huentitan is a canyon carved by the river Rio Grande de Santiago and is located just North of Guadalajara. The canyon is as deep as 600m and is considered a biogeographic corridor (a protected area) because of the numerous birds and types of vegetation you can find. We hiked 2 different peripheral trails that offered stunning sights.

That's what my presentation used to say a year and a half ago. Crazy how fast times change! We are now traveling across the US and Canada aboard our beloved self-converted camper van.
